And while I was deciding on what donut to consume there was a ray of light that shone right out of the heavens down on their coffee machine. They had coffee…and donuts…but coffee…they had coffee…well I can honestly let you know…I settled in for the long haul…sugar coma here I come. The crew that work here are really friendly, helpful and above all…they are donut enablers…and I think they take a little joy in waiting for the sugary crashes that inevitably come!!! 😉

Service: Like I said, they are enablers and I want to thank them for that!!! I want to thank them for showing me what I was truely capable of when it came to great coffee combined with donuts and followed by a sugar coma. This place is a must on the to do list. The staff are friendly, fun and possibly full of sugar most of the day!!! Makes for a fun place to visit.

Coffee Type: A Grande Caramel Latte (It just sounds fancy)

Location: 46 Oswald St, Innaloo WA 6018, Australia

Coffee in one word or more: Friendliest Coffee Ever!!!l!!!

Atmosphere: I was initially hesitant about the quality of a drive thru coffee. However in a rush one day I decided to give this place a try. My only regret is that I did’t try this place earlier. They are amazing here. Every time I pull up at the window they remember my coffee order (which is a big thing for me) and they give me a little time oasis from the daily rush. The coffee is fantastic and the experience, even though I am sitting in my car, absolutely makes my day.

Service: The couple who run this place have nailed it in all respects. They work hard and are very hands on with the daily running of this place which I believe attributes to the success they deserve. The staff they hire are absolute gems. They are all friendly, can make a great coffee and most importantly they leave me smiling overtime I drive away. They go above and beyond here and they have a real sense of personalise. They remember what you spoke about with them with on previous visits and they show a genuine interest in how you are and how your day is looking or has been!!!

Roast / Bean: Muzz Buzz Coffee!!!

Cost: Standard Rims which is awesome considering the expedient nature of the coffee experience.!!!

Your success is directly attributed to yourselves and the amazing team you have setup behind you!!! You guys have created an amazing culture which makes the days of everyone who experiences it.

Coffee Type: A Large Latte

Location: D’Albora Marinas, Terrey Hills NSW 2084

Coffee in one word: Lifesaver

Atmosphere: This was a fly by visit as I was working outdoors in the cold miserable rain. The coffee order was large and very much required to keep team morale up—which was dwindling as fast as our chances of going home dry .he best part of the cafe was it was very warm and dry.

Service: The team here took the massive order in their stride and delivered an excellent range of coffees that were exceptionally warm and morale boosting when delivered to the troops on the ground. Overall the team was friendly and warm.

Roast / Bean: Withams

Cost: They have the market cornered here but the pricing is fair.

Reward schemes: Nil

☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ This place has to been seen to be believed.

Coffee in one word: Sweet

Atmosphere: This cafe has a lovely and warm mountain air atmosphere. I went to Katoomba the other day on a climbing trip. As soon as we cruised down the main road we  noticed this cafe and decided to give it a try. It was one of the better ideas we had had. The cafe has a nice cosy atmosphere and the coffee is fantastic. Just what we needed to start the days adventures.

Service: Extremely friendly. They were all smiles and very helpful. The coffee came out extremely quickly and as I said before it was an awesome coffee. They have nailed the warm service you would expect from a lovely mountains cafe.

Brickfields Chippendale

Coffee Type: A long black with one.

Location: 206 Cleveland Street, Chippendale.

Coffee in one word: Pleasant

Atmosphere: With a name like Brickfields and my notable obsession with lego, how could I not visit a cafe with a name like Brickfields. While the cafe has nothing to do with lego it is still an awesome little local secret. It is a bakery as well as a cafe so you can just imagine how amazing it smells when you step inside. They have an excellent layout which lets you see right into the bakery to whats going on, so your curious side can be appeased. You can even sit on the park benches outside the cafe and they will serve your coffee there, which I think is very unique and cool. On the wall when you walk in is a cool feature wall of tiles that they have incorporated into the design of the takeaway coffee cups which is a very unique technique.

Service: So they have one of the coolest serving techniques I have come across. I a a bit of a tech geek and as such love gadgets and the like. As soon as you walk in you are served by a friendly staff member with a iPad who takes your order and your money so you don’t have to line up at the counter. They are very friendly here and the staff combination make for a very funky vibe. This was the first time I had been to this cafe but thanks largely to the staff I will become more of a regular here.

Roast / Bean: In house blend.

Cost: Good price for the area.

Reward schemes: Nil

☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ This will become one of my regular coffee haunts. Thats how much of an initial impression it had on me.

It is a very bright and vibrant place to watch the world cruise on by. The coffee is nothing short of exceptional here.

Roast / Bean: Lucky Seven Blend.

Cost: Cheap for me…Boss brought mine…However they are about the average price of the area which is pretty reasonable..

Qantas In Flight Coffee

Qantas In Flight Coffee

Qantas In Flight Coffee

Coffee Type: Brewed coffee.

Location: Boeing 737-800 Cruising at 33000ft

Coffee in one word: Mysterious
Atmosphere: I feel like a captured audience up here. They have a way of making you feel like you’re in your own world. Kind of like your own 2ft x 2.5ft place of solitude. I have to admit the crew are very friendly and courteous up here. They tend to your needs quite quickly and always make sure you have somewhere to sit, all be it they do make you strap into your seat. Now the view can’t be faulted. They go to quite the effort to make sure the view is constantly changing and that there is always something interesting to see.

Service: The crew are very friendly, fast and polite. Sometimes it can be a little bit bumpy, but lets face it when you are fighting gravity that can be a natural side effect.

Roast / Bean: Qantas In house blend..I believe

Cost: Two ways to look at this. Its either great pricing because its free with your airfare or the most expensive coffee I have purchase at a couple of hundred dollars that you have to drink while going somewhere.

Reward schemes: Qantas Frequent Flyers.

☕️☕️☕️☕️ I do have a soft spot for Qantas coffee and it is always delivered with a smile.

Newtown Specialty Coffee Cafe

Newtown Coffee Specialist

Newtown Specialty Coffee Cafe

Coffee Type: A soy latte.

Location: 180 Brunswick Street Fitzroy, Victoria

Coffee in one word: Delicious
Atmosphere: This is the first in a series of Melbournian coffee reviews from a quick and highly caffeinated visit to our southern neighbours. I stumbled across this place when cruising down Brunswick street. It had all the key indicators of a great coffee shop and it didn’t fail to deliver. The feel of this place is cool even by Melbourne high standards for cafes. It has one of my favourite traits of a good cafe with a lovely bench at the front to watch the world go by while you enjoy some amazing coffee. They have a really cool wooden log wall which is another one of the thing that cemented my opinion as to why this cafe was so great was, Also they had lego strategically cancelled in the walls for those who look hard enough.

Service: The staff were genuinely friendly and they run an amazing coffee oasis.

Roast / Bean: In house blend…really good by the way.

Cost: Good pricing in a very cafe dominated area.

Reward schemes: Nil.

☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ This will be part of my Melbourne staple coffee diet anytime I am in town. Cool place made even better by the friendly staff.
